View moreCorion 5000 iu injection is used in the treatment of female infertility (inability to become pregnant) and male hypogonadism (decrease in male hormone). It hlps in the stimulation of the production of gonadal steroid hormones by inducing interstitial cells of the testis to produce androgens and the corpus luteum of the ovary to produce progesterone.
Some women using this medicine have developed a condition caled ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome especially after teh first treatment cycle.
It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Corion 5000 iu injection at a fixed time or as directed by the Doctor.
